Veterinarian Zootechnician graduated from the University of Los Llanos, with a Master's and Ph.D. in Animal Production with an emphasis on ruminant nutrition from the National University of Colombia. He has experience in research projects focused on feeding systems, particularly on the effects of using grazing forages, conserved forages, and silvopastoral systems on milk production and composition, including lipid profiles. Additionally, he has experience in the evaluation and selection of forage materials for dual-purpose cattle, as well as in technology transfer projects for implementing feeding alternatives such as grasses, legumes, silvopastoral systems, conserved forages, and supplements for ruminant feeding in dual-purpose cattle systems. He also has experience in university teaching in courses on nutrition, feeding, and bovine production.
