Biography

Agricultural Engineer, University of Panama, Master's Degree in Agribusiness Management and Environment from the University for International Cooperation (UCI) Costa Rica Studies in Higher Education, University of Panama. He has received specialization courses in the areas of Integrated Urban Rural Planning, strategic planning, and formulation and implementation of agricultural public policies CERUR (ISRAEL). Diploma in Food and Nutrition Security Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean. (FAO). He has 30 years of work experience. Project Consultant at FAO, National Planning Director of IDIAP, Coordinator of Impact Studies of the AGRONUTRE PANAMA Project, Researcher in Socioeconomics, for the Genetic Resources Center, Research Center Coordinator, Experimental Farms, Executive Director of Project Management Specials of the Agricultural Development Bank, Supervisor of Agricultural Projects at the Agricultural Development Bank.As research products it has: Socioeconomic studies in areas. Papaya, dual purpose cattle, banana. In the Panama Oeste area; Socioeconomic studies in the Integrated Development project for the provinces of Coclé, Colon and Panama. (Capira); Socioeconomic Studies in the AGRONUTRE PANAMA Project. Among other notable publications such as the Guide for the formulation of investment projects in the agricultural sector under the approach of strategic planning and results-based management and the Systematization of the capacity generation process for family producers on the agroecological management of coastal coffee, using the field school methodology (FFS) with FAO in 2016.
