Researcher in the area of Ruminant Nutrition in the Livestock Production Group of the Animal Production Group of Manfredi Agricultural Experimental Station of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), located in the central region of Córdoba, Argentina. He graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, where he later obtained his Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a mention in Animal Production. His work focuses on ruminant feeding, particularly in rumen digestion and fermentation. His studies aim to understand and quantitatively describe the digestive processes that occur within the rumen, and thus be able to design and evaluate feeding strategies and fermentation modulators that allow improving efficiency in the use of nutrients, reducing the emission of contaminants, and positively impact the composition and nutritional value of meat. He coordinated research teams of INTA's National Animal Production Program (meat quality in cattle; nutrition in beef cattle), and was head of the Livestock Production research group.
