Biography

Veterinary Doctor and Zootechnician, Specialist in Animal Nutrition, Master of Science from the Federal University of Viçosa, MG, Brazil. Junior Researcher at Colciencias, affiliated with the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation - AGROSAVIA. Leader of the Livestock and Small Species Network at the Turipaná Research Center (2020-2024) and Associate Researcher in projects of the Livestock and Small Species Network and the Roots and Tubers Network. Also associated with the International Alliance project: "Creation of the Beef Value Chain through Optimization of Rumen Microbiome and Forage Management using a Digital Platform", framed under the Association of Research in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development-SATREPS in partnership with JICA and Japan. Experienced in the development of research and development and innovation (R&D&I) projects, with skills in planning and directing integration and articulation processes within the agricultural sector.

Research Areas: Forage Conservation, Alternative Feeds, Metabolism and Efficiency in Nutrient Use, Greenhouse Gas Mitigation, Agri-food Systems, Integrated and Sustainable Animal Production Models, Rural Extension, and Food Security.
