Biography

Biotechnological Production Engineer from the Francisco de Paula Santander University and master's degree in Applied Biology from the Nueva Granada Military University. She is a master's researcher at AGROSAVIA at CI Caribia (Magdalena), with work experience of more than 10 years, with 5 of them dedicated to the coordination of the plant tissue culture laboratory of the Bio-Systems Center of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. in research and production of high quality vegetative seed in fruit and horticultural species. Within her professional activity, she has participated in the morphological and molecular characterization of arracacha varieties, commercial production of vegetative seed of onion and garlic of high phytosanitary quality and participatory research for the conservation of germplasm in situ and ex if you. Currently, she is linked to horticultural and fruit species projects, with the development of diagnostic and monitoring activities for beneficial insects and pests, and she also participates in the phytosanitary component of the Caribia Research Center that develops research on HLB in citrus fruits.
