Biography

Economist, Doctor of Human Sciences, with a Master's in Business Management. Specialization in Industrial Management, both degrees from the University of Zulia. Specialist in Project Formulation under the Logical Framework approach and Formulation and Evaluation of Social Projects. He is the current Secretary of Economic Development for the Governor's Office of Zulia state and a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Zulia, with 30 years of academic experience, as well as Planning Advisor for the Secretary of the University of Zulia. Among some of his previous positions are: Director of the University of Zulia's Publishing House (EDILUZ), Secretary of the General Council of the Technological Park of the University of Zulia, Technical Coordinator of the team formulating the Doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Zulia, Academic Coordinator of the Master's in Business Management of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, among others. In the area of scientific research, he is a member of the doctoral research teams in the area of entrepreneurship and local development, participating in the Doctorates of Social Sciences and Economic Sciences of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Doctorate of Human Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Education of the University of Zulia, and Doctorate of Sustainable Human Development of the University Valle del Momboy. He has published 5 books as an author, as well as various scientific articles. Likewise, he is a national and international speaker in the field of economics and management.
