My research seeks to generate knowledge about adaptive responses to abiotic stress, linking physiological and molecular mechanisms to contribute to solutions to current problems in the northern part of the country.
As a molecular ecologist of productive agroecosystems, I integrate basic and applied science, seeking more adapted phenotypes and enhancing genetic variability in current agricultural systems. On a personal level, I hope to continue my life focused on research, providing knowledge to the community and contributing to solutions for the daily needs we face.
