Biography

Agronomist Engineer (UNCuyo, 1999), with internship in a US winery (1999). Double Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology (UNCuyo and ENSAM France, 2004). Doctor in Agricultural Sciences (UNCórdoba, 2013), with a doctoral research stay at Hochschule Geisenheim University, Germany (2008), with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education (Arg) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Specialized in viticulture and sustainable soil management. He works in agroecological management of vineyards and other horticultural crops, organic agriculture, cover crops, composting, biological fertilization, among other topics. He has coordinated and participated in national and international research projects and carried out technical assistance missions to the Republics of Peru, the Philippines and Ecuador. Coordinator of various Technological Linkage Agreements with companies and institutions (8). He was a visiting undergraduate and graduate professor at different universities (UNCuyo, UNSan Juan, UTN Mendoza, Ude Congreso, UNVilla María). Author of nearly 80 scientific and popular publications. He has been a speaker at more than 60 national and 12 international meetings, within the framework of symposiums, courses, conferences and conferences. Currently he is a Researcher and Head of the Sustainable Agrotechnology group, National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA, Argentina), Mendoza Experimental Station.
