Biography

Agricultural Engineer, with a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in phytotechnics, graduated from the University of Costa Rica. Researcher in the Vegetable Unit, with experience in research and transfer of sustainable agriculture technologies. Diagnosis of phytopathology, entomology and nematology by morphological and molecular techniques. Collaborator in the execution of national and international projects for the development of research and technology transfer in potato germplasm selection studies and phytopathological and entomological research at the laboratory, greenhouse and field level with the use of agrochemicals, bioinputs and organic farming practices in potato, cassava, onion, tomato, and sweet chili crops.
