Biography

President of the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIA) Venezuela, Head of vertex 3: Biological and synthetic inputs of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission (GMAV) and Research Professional category 8-VIII (PI 8-VIII) of the INIA. Academic training: Agricultural Engineer with a mention in Phytotechnics, graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy of the Central University of Venezuela (FAGRO-UCV). Magister Scientiarum in Agricultural Botany area Plant Physiology, title obtained in the Postgraduate Degree in Agricultural Botany at FAGRO-UCV. Doctor in Agricultural Biotechnology with a Plant mention, degree obtained from the Socialist School of Tropical Agriculture of the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIA). Doctor in Ecology of Human Development, title awarded by the Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University (UNESR). Areas of performance: Professor at FAGRO-UCV from 1995 to 2000. Researcher in the area of edible musaceae, competitive plants and bioinputs (plant extracts).
