Catriel Santillan is an Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina (2013). He worked as a student assistant in Plant Physiology and then as an assistant lecturer, a position he has held since 2019. He joined the INTA Manfredi as a research fellow in the crop ecophysiology group to carry out his doctorate in maize agronomic management and genetic improvement (in progress). He has participated in multiple research projects related to the ecophysiology of maize, soybean and oregano crops, financed by public and private organizations. He is author of 8 publications in scientific meetings, given 4 seminars and has co-authored a book chapter. He has been advisor and co-advisor of two degree theses. He has been the Agronomy Success Leader for the new business development area at Kilimo since 2020, a digital platform that supports irrigation management in agriculture. His main motivation is to increase the resources´ use efficiency.
