He graduated from the University of Panama, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in 2004, where he obtained the title of Engineer in Agricultural Development with an emphasis on Agricultural Business Administration. He began his professional duties at IDIAP in 2007 through the IDIAP-Ngäbe Buglé Project. Working as research assistants, then as a researcher on crops such as cocoa, beans, vegetables, as well as characterization of horticultural systems in the Ngäbe Bugle Comarca (CNB). In the same way, he has contributed to the development of other research activities of the projects registered in the CNB, he has participated in events as an exhibitor, he has a scientific article characterizing the horticultural production systems of family farming in the CNB , and appears as a collaborator in other scientific articles. To date, it carries out research work on the identification of high-productivity coffee cultivars with tolerance to pests, the evaluation of high-yielding and pest-tolerant tomato varieties under CNB conditions, and the characterization of Creole cattle in production systems of the CNB.
