This call for proposals will fund up to USD 1.6 million in projects in support of innovative platforms to promote practices to prevent or reduce water pollution, soil degradation, deforestation and desertification, among other factors.
(Washington DC, 2 July 2015) FONTAGRO today announced the results of the 2015 Call for Proposals for submitting projects on “Innovations for sustainable management of natural resources in family farming in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
The Technical-Administrative Secretariat (TAS) of FONTAGRO is pleased to announce the profiles that have been selected to submit final project proposals in the context of the 2015 Call for Proposals.
The process of evaluating the formal technical criteria of the submitted profiles was recently completed. Of the 146 profiles that FONTAGRO received, 75 met the eligibility and technical quality criteria. Only those profiles that obtained a score of 75 points or higher will be invited to submit formal proposals for the second phase of the call for proposals.
The TAS reports that during preparation of formal proposals, in accordance with the FONTAGRO Operations Manual paragraph 36, “Profiles invited to submit formal proposals will be posted on the Fund’s website to allow other parties to express to the consortium’s leaders their interest in participating; the consortium may accept or reject the offer.”
The 17 profiles invited to present proposals are listed below. The order in which they appear has no relation to the score obtained and only indicates the identification number entered in the TAS database.
We would like to thank all participants for their interest in the 2015 Call for Proposals.
